| Protak hot melt sticks are available in three
grades, W101, W201 and W601. They are a non-toxic, thermoplastic adhesive based on EVA, supplied in a 12mm diameter sticks, 43mm cartridges and pellet form. Their different characteristics and applications, are as follows:- |

| PROTAK W243 - EDGEBANDER HOT MELT - HIGH SPEED | ||||
| Protak W243 is a high quality, high viscosity general purpose hot melt adhesive for edgebanding especially with double sided egdebanders or fast throughfeed machines. It is ideal for straight edging and softforming for veneer, solid wood lippings, ABS, PVC and melamine. The product has a high heat resistance (FIRA Gold Award Standards - Ring & Ball 84-91degC). Protak W243 has a lower filler content than other grades and therefore has excellent economy, resulting in a non-visible glue line and minimal glue pot contamination, prices are as follows 25Kg at £1.87/Kg. | ||||

PROTAK W153 - EDGEBANDING HOT MELT - LOW SPEED

| Protak W153 is a good quality low to medium viscosity hot melt adhesive for edgebanding with excellent working properties. The adhesive melts and flows well without stringing on the roller. Protak W153 is a universal edge banding hot melt and has been developed for use on automatic edge banding machines specially suited to single sided slower through feed machines. It can be used on melamine, ABS, PVS, wood, veneer, polyester and solid wood strips. The product has a high heat resistance (FIRA Gold Award Standards - Ring & Ball 79-83 degC). PROTAK W003 - EDGEBANDING HOT MELT - CONTOURED PANELS

| Protak W003 is an edgebanding hot melt adhesive, formulated specifically for hand fed, semi-automatic machines designed to edge contoured panels. The product has a low viscosity, high hot tack and a very long open time. Due to it's low application temperature, Protak W003 is ideal for PVC edging material where the glue is spread on the back of the edge. Prices are as follows: 25Kg at £2.35/Kg. | ||||

| Protak W093 is a high quality edgebanding hot melt adhesive giving transparent glue lines. The product is lightly filled and suitable for straight edging, contour edging and softforming where an invisible glue line is required. for edgebanding with medium viscosity and excellent working properties.
